    Agreed that Google Drive be used to share working documents and any completed documents for public viewing be put onto a specific page within the Great Longstone Parish Council website that has already been created. SH has the author access to the GLPC website>

  1. Declaration of area for NP and application to PDNPA

    Agreed that the area for the LANP is confirmed as Little Longstone and Great Longstone parish boundaries and that the formal application be made to PNDPA. Action – AD

  2. External Communication

    Article written for UTE covering the first two meetings.
    Agreed to pull together a briefing and communication day at the LASRA Sports Day (July 13th, 2pm to 7pm) to try and involve parishioners and recruit volunteers into the various workstreams. Slides, posters to prepare, and schedule to set for volunteers.

    SH brought up the possibility of a revised housing needs survey being completed by the Housing Department at DDDC in early 2026. It was agreed that this would be beneficial and asked Simon to request this, and to include Little Longstone in the survey. Action – SH

    Discussion on the operation of the previous quarry assets in relation to their inclusion in a NP, it was considered that this may be batter approached by setting up a Village Information meeting and involve PDNPA at an appropriate time. Noted here and action to be taken by the Parish Council members.
