Council Meeting – 25th March 1904
Eighty ninth Meeting of the Parish Council
held in the School-room Great Longstone
on March 25th 1904.

Messrs Dixon, Spanton, Thornhill & Ward, and Shimwell (Clerk)
The Minutes of the last Meeting were read & confirmed.
Assistant Overseer
On the recommendation of the Overseers Mr Dixon proposed and Mr Ward seconded that the sum of £3..10..0 be voted to the Assistant Overseer for collecting the Special Sanitary Rate made on the 28th day of November 1903.
Station Footpath
The Parish Council having been informed that Mr Wright wished to have the management of repairing the Station footpath, it was therefore proposed by Mr Dixon and seconded by Mr Thornhill that the Clerk write to Mr Wright asking him for an estimate of what he would undertake to put the above footpath in good repair.
Holme Meal Charity
A cheque for £8..5..8 had been drawn in payment of Mrs Green’s a/c for supplying Dole Meal.
A cheque was drawn in favor of J. Shimwell for the following expenses

Election Expenses — 10/1
Postages — 1/3½

3 years Rent of Notice Board — 1/6
