Council Meeting – 13th November 1896

Twenty-sixth meeting of the Parish Council held in the School Room, Great Longstone, on Friday, November 13th, 1896.
Present: Mr James Orr, Chairman; Messrs Eyre, J. Johnson, S. Johnson, Spanton, and Shimwell, Clerk.
The minutes of the last meeting held on the 6th inst. were read and confirmed.
The question of water supply was discussed, but as nothing definite could be settled before the Public Meeting arranged for the 20th inst., it was decided to postpone the matter till after that meeting.
It was arranged that Mr Orr should bring the matter forward at the Public Meeting.
