Council Meeting – 16th December 2020
MINUTES OF THE EXTRAORDINARY MEETING
HELD ON 16TH DECEMBER 2020,
VIA ZOOM
Present: Cllr Wendy Long (Chair), Cllr Rick Gooch (Vice Chair), Cllr Phil Barrett and Sarah Stokes (Clerk).
The Chair opened the meeting at 7.03pm.
83/20 Apologies for absence. There were no apologies.
84/20 Declarations of interest. Cllr Barrett declared an interest in item 4 on the agenda (The Willows).
85/20 Planning application. Gildlow, Moor Rd. NP DDD/1220/1162. Proposed alteration and extension of an existing dwelling and new – build garage and associated works.
PC Comments: No objections.
86/20 Planning application. The Willows, The Mires. NP/DDD/1120/1056. Single storey extension to rear of property.
Following further measurements from PDNPA the planning application was discussed.
PC Comments: No objections. However, there are concerns regarding off road parking, if the new extension is built.
87/20. Burial grounds and maintenance. Following an item of correspondence from St Giles Churchwarden regarding maintenance this matter was discussed. The Churchwarden highlighted a number of repair costs and maintenance for 2021.
It was proposed by Cllr Long to do a one of payment of £500 towards the ash dieback/gate post and wall costs, seconded by Cllr Gooch. It was noted that the PC donate on this occasion however this is not to set a precedence. The Chair stated that the PC have fundraised for any extra items in the community, the church to also go down this route. Clerk to reply to the church and arrange funds.
88/20 Date of next meeting. March 10th 2021.
The meeting closed at 7.22pm.
