3. Data Storage
   Google Drive set up, re-circulate details – Action – AD
4. Declaration of area for NP and application to PDNPA
   Formal application made to PNDPA, will go to committee in September, posters circulated on Facebook.
5. Communication and Engagement Strategy

   Opted for a Village Meeting to be held on 7^th October, village hall booked, but consider using the school hall.

   Need to reflect on objectives of the session – to inform and engage parishioners in the NP process, and to come out of the meeting with volunteers to work alongside the various workgroups that intertest them.

   There is also a need to develop a communication and engagement strategy where the workgroup issues can be shared – maybe through a facebook (or similar platform) / survey monkey type approach? Also consider UTE / Flyers / School.

6. NP Topic Areas – Some workgroup areas reviewed and started to flesh out the content. At some point will need to establish which elements fall into the Neighbourhood Plan and others to be picked up in a “Area Village Plan”.

   1 Housing

• Setting up a Community Land Trust looks relatively straight forward and approximate costs £200 – £300.

6.2 Conservation & Environment 

• Overlap with Farming on surrounding environment, needs some collaboration and Sara has details of SSSI.

6.3 Farming

• Support for farming & its outcomes

6.4 Business & Tourism 

• SWOT and PESTLE briefly discussed

6.5 Creating Community
Presentation of new material by Simon, details on the slides, other excel and word documents to put onto Google Drive (Action SH)

• Identified four areas,
  • Social and Educational
  • Sports and Recreation
  • Support and services for older people
  • Support and services for young families / children
• Can also look at three categories:
  • Formal or “Lead” Organisations (i.e. GLPC, LLPM, PCC, LASRA, LEAP)
  • Physical Infrastructure (i.e. St Giles, Village Hall, Rec)
  • Groups and Activities
    Consider doing a short “SWOT” analysis for each of the “Physical Infrastructure” and “Formal/Lead Organisations” as the health of these are key for the activities that they support.
• Village Diary
  • Start discussion by putting together a “village diary”.
• Start Village Calendar discussion on Facebook
• Create the 4 sub-groups and recruit to them
• Start thinking about the SWOT Analysis
• Use public a meeting in October to start the discussion & recruitment

7. Thornhill Development
   
   Information shared regarding the Thornhill development and the potential for the redevelopment of the old site. This scheme is still in the pre-planning stage and no applications have been made to PDNPA, but it may involve the re-development of the old site that would be of interest to us in relation to housing needs.

   This news would support the formation of a Community Land Trust

   Community Grant of £750 from PDNPA might be available to the NP. Application to make, Action AD
