Sixty sixth Meeting of the Parish Council held on March 29th 1900
in the School Room, Great Longstone.

Present:
Mr H. A. Spanton — Chairman
Messrs Coe & Ward

Mr Spanton was unanimously appointed Chairman of the meeting.

The Minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.

Mr J. Shimwell explained that on behalf of the Clerk he had examined the scheme for Water supply & the proposed basis of apportioning the expenses, and he could not advise the overseers to object to the same.

Telegraphs

Duplicate forms of Agreement guaranteeing the payment of any sums not exceeding £12, which had been received from the Post Master General, were laid before the meeting and signed by the Chairman and two members and countersigned by the Clerk.

A Cheque for £1-8-0 was signed in favour of J. Shimwell, Clerk for the following expenses:

Messrs Ward & Spanton were appointed a committee to inspect and repair a public footpath called Cracken Jennell.
