Council Meeting – 26th September 1906
Hundredth Meeting of the Parish Council
held in the School-room Great Longstone
on the 26th of September 1906.
Present

Messrs Spanton, Thornhill and Ward and Shimwell (Clerk)
The Minutes of the last Meeting were read and confirmed.
Assistant Overseer
On the recommendation of the Overseers Mr Thornhill proposed and Mr Dixon seconded that the sum of Five pounds be voted to the Assistant Overseer for collecting the Special Sanitary Rate made the 19th day of June 1906.
Revision of Public Tip
A letter was read from Mr Hawes stating that notice of motion to delegate to the Great Longstone Parish Council the powers which the Bakewell Rural District Council possess herein, has been duly given, and after being adjourned for one month, the motion was by leave of the Council finally withdrawn.
Balance Sheet
A Balance Sheet of the Overseers receipts and payments for the half year ended 31st March 1906 was presented for inspection.
