Forty-fifth meeting of the Parish Council held in the School Room, Great Longstone,
on Thursday, May 26th, 1898.
Present:
Mr S. Johnson, Chairman.
Messrs Jos. Johnson, H. A. Spanton, S. Bennett, and C. H. Buzzard, Clerk.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
Proposed by Mr Spanton that Mr R. D. Lee be elected a Councillor in room of Mr Joseph Wood resigned.
Proposed by Mr Jos. Johnson, seconded by Mr Samuel Johnson, that Mr Rogers Pilling Dixon be elected a Councillor in room of Mr Joseph Wood resigned.
As there was no seconder to Mr Lee, Mr Spanton withdrew his proposition, and Mr G. Dixon was unanimously elected.
