Council Meeting – 24th March 1903

Eighty fifth Meeting of the Parish Council
held in the School-room Great Longstone
on March 24th 1903.

The Minutes of the last Meeting were read and confirmed.

Assistant Overseer

Owing to the instructions of the District Auditor this Council hereby rescind their resolution made on September 23rd 1902 to increase the salary of the Assistant Overseer, for the extra duties caused by making the Special Sanitary Rate.

On the recommendation of the Overseers Mr Dixon proposed and Mr Ward seconded that the sum of £5 be voted to the Assistant Overseer for making the two Special Sanitary Rates dated June 21st 1902 and December 17th 1902.

A cheque for £1..7..0 was drawn in favor of J. Shimwell for the following expenses
