Council Meeting – 16th April 1903

Eighty sixth Meeting of the Parish Council
held in the School-room Great Longstone
on April 16th 1903.

Present Rev. G. Andrew (Chairman)
Messrs Spanton and Ward and Shimwell (Clerk)

The Minutes of the last Meeting were read and confirmed.

Chairman

This being the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council for the election of Chairman and Overseers, it was proposed by Mr Spanton and seconded by Mr Ward that the Rev. G. Andrew be Chairman of the Parish Council for the ensuing year.

Vice-Chairman

Mr Andrew proposed and Mr Ward seconded that Mr Spanton be Vice-Chairman of the Parish Council for the ensuing year.

Overseers

Mr Andrew proposed and Mr Ward seconded that Mr Henry Arthur Spanton and Mr Albert Jackson Skidmore be appointed Overseers of the Poor for the ensuing year.
