Fire Brigade
The Chairman proposed that a vote of thanks be forwarded to the Capt. and members of the Fire Brigade for their services.
Mr Bridge seconded, and it was carried unanimously.
Special Expenses Rate
On the proposition of Mr Hambleton a resolution was passed instructing the Clerk to write to the Stoke Flat Rates Committee to enquire why the Special Expenses rate is 1/4 in the Great Longstone area and only 6d in the East Ashford area.
Also to request the Stoke Flat Rates Committee to supply the parishes comprised in the scheme with a balance sheet showing the accounts of each parish.
