We are fortunate to have an excellent facility and these rules and conditions have been written to ensure that it is available for as long as possible whilst also minimising any possible impact on neighbouring properties.

Tennis Court / MUGA

A joint project between Little Longstone Parish Meeting and Great Longstone Parish Council has seen the successful reopening of the Tennis Court / Multi Use Sports Area and the delivery of new tennis and pickleball nets.

Funding for this project has come from Sports England and Better Derbyshire Fund Grants, Little Longstone Parish Meeting and Great Longstone Parish Council.

At a cost of over £20,000 it’s important we look after the new court. The surface is painted for tennis / netball / 5-a-side and two pickleball courts.

The acrylic surface is designed for ball and racquet sports so please don’t use it for anything else! And only soft soled trainers / sports shoes should be worn when using the facility

Whilst it might be tempting to use the surface for cycling, roller-skating etc. this will cause damage to the surface, so please don’t!
