Public Tip
Some discussion took place with reference to the Parish Council’s application for powers with respect to providing a Public Tip, which Mr Eyre explained that had it been granted, would have involved a compulsory system of scavenging, and thereby incurring a serious expenditure, he further explained that the course to be taken against anyone depositing rubbish in the bye-lanes was to report to the Rural District Council and they would instruct their Surveyor in the matter
It was proposed to use the Outrake Quarry as a tip and that notice be given by the Overseers to the occupier of the Quarry that his tenancy will expire, in order that the Parish may have possession as soon as possible.
Charities
The various lists of Charities were presented and after being inspected Mr Bean proposed and Mr Cooke seconded that they be published on the Councils notice board.
Mr Eyre proposed and Mr J. Johnson seconded that the list of recipients of the Wright’s Charity be returned to the Vicar and that he be requested to affix the amount received by each person.
