Annual Parish Meeting – 28th March 1905
Minutes of the eleventh Annual Assembly of the Parish Meeting,
held in the School-room, Great Longstone, on Tuesday 28th March 1905.
Present:
Rev. G. Andrew (Chairman), Messrs. H. A. Spanton, J. W. Thornhill, A. Flint, T. Hibbert and S. Johnson.
The Minutes of the last Meeting were read and confirmed.
Charities
Rev. G. Andrew presented the Accounts of the various Charities with which he is connected.
After being inspected, Mr S. Johnson inquired about the cause of a deficit in the amount distributed.
Mr Andrew explained that the deficit was owing to expenses incurred in repairing buildings on the farm in which the charity is invested.
