Ninety eighth Meeting of the Parish Council
held in the School-room Great Longstone
on the 29th of March 1906.

Present

The Minutes of the last Meeting were read and confirmed.

Assistant Overseer

On the recommendation of the Overseers Mr Dixon proposed and Mr Ward seconded that the sum of £5 be voted to the Assistant Overseer for collecting the Special Sanitary Rate made the 25th day of November 1905.

Public Tip

Mr Hawes wrote asking to be informed if it is the wish of the Parish Council that the powers with respect to the provision of Public Tips should be delegated to them by the Rural District Council.

It was proposed by Mr Spanton and seconded by Mr Ward that this Council apply for the above powers to be conferred upon them.

Holme Meal Charity

A cheque for £8.6.10 had been paid to Mrs Green for supplying Dole Meal.

A cheque was drawn for 13/- in favour of I. Shimwell for the following expenses viz:

Audit Stamp — 5/-
5 Meetings in School-room — 5/-
One years rent of Notice Board — 6d
Stationery — 1/4
Postages — 1/2
